Job descriptionAs Business Controller at Weco, you will play a key role together with the management team and divisional functions in developing and integrating Weco into Epiroc. Your role will include to act as a bridge between operations in the entity and divisional functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, challenge the organization to be come as efficient as possible, and actively work with communication both within Weco and to other Epiroc functions such as, but not limited to, Regional Center of Excellence.Supporting and advising the General Manager and Functional Managerswith good tools and analysis of business trends, proactively review company and business line performance to enable business development based on sound decisions.Safeguarding a good internal control environment in order to protect the company assets, to control the consolidated financial performance of the company and to make sure that financial reporting and accounting matters are in accordance with the The Epiroc Way and local statutory accounting practices.Since Weco is a PC, Cost accounting and Inventory analysis is going to be a focus area, and we expect you to have a high interest in operational processes and take proactive actions, as well as communicating with stakeholders concerned.Following up of internal business policies and procedures, in line with local legal and group requirements. Putting in place and manage best practice of applied processes.Maintaining a close working relationship with all divisions, including preparation and presentation of Business Review & Company Review meetings as well as follow up of divisional objectives, projects and expectations.Managing assets, including overall responsibility for collection and inventory management. Pro-active highlighting of red flags where necessary and putting in place action plans when and where necessary.Participating in other project teamwork on a local, divisional and business area level.
Ensure Compliance to SHEQ StandardsExperience requirementsBusiness analysis skills with solid experience in finance and business control.
Experience from working in finance and/ or business control.
Proven track record of focus on quality, accuracy, deadlines and orderly work.
Merit is leadership skills in coaching and co-operating with others in business control and risk management.
At least 5 years in a similar environment at a managerial levelGood communication and cooperation skills is a must.KnowledgeFamiliar with general accounting principles, IFRS, cost accounting and statutory accounting rules.Educational requirementsQualified Chartered Accountant or acceptable equivalentPersonality requirementsDynamic, self-motivated.
