Job Description


Hire Resolve's client is seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Administrator to join their team in the cleaning industry in KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the business development team in identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.Responsibilities:

  • Cold calling potential clients to generate new leads and following up on them.
  • Continuously updating the supplier database for competitive quotations.
  • Conducting site visits before preparing quotations.
  • Preparing and submitting quotations, proposals, tenders, and presentations for new business opportunities.
  • Involvement in deal negotiation until closure, working closely with management.
  • Responsible for handing over new contracts to site operations along with SHE & Quality documents.
  • Collaborating with management to improve costing and pricing strategies for competitiveness.
  • Creating a clear sales pipeline, setting weekly and monthly targets, tracking deals, and using tools like Trello for follow-ups.
  • Generating weekly performance reports.
  • Following up on newly secured business and overseeing implementation on-site.
  • Ensuring delivery of quality and safety files required for site operations.
  • Coordinating the servicing of hygiene equipment and teams on-site.
  • Visiting current sites for customer care, monitoring quality and SHE compliance, and identifying upselling opportunities, with this responsibility transitioning to the area manager as the business grows.
RequirementsRequirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
  • Previous experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the cleaning industry is preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software
  • Knowledge of the cleaning industry and market trends in KwaZulu-Natal
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
