Help us to make a difference, and take your career to the next level with EDGE.Key responsibilities:Sales and lead generation:Proactively generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, social media and networkingArrange meetings and product demonstrations with potential customers to showcase our offeringsBuild and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales opportunitiesConsistently meet or exceed KPIs and sales targets set by the Head of Business DevelopmentIdentify and analyse opportunities for new business within the marketDrive price negotiations and closing of sales to maximise revenue and profitabilityStay informed about industry trends, market activities and competitorsCustomer relationship management:Provide assistance and support to other members of the sales team to achieve collective goalsMaintain strong relationships with key clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfactionFacilitate upselling and cross-selling opportunities to past and current customers to enhance revenueUpdate the CRM system diligently, capturing accurate and comprehensive information on customers and leadsDeliver exceptional customer service and resolve any issues or concerns promptlyReporting and support:Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly sales projections along with pipeline reportsAttend educational opportunities, conferences and workshops to stay updated on industry developments and enhance skillsExecute ad hoc projects as requested by management, contributing to the overall success of the sales teamProvide feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement of sales processes and strategiesWork collaboratively with multiple departments at EDGE EducationQualifications:Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role in B2B sales (1-2 year experience)Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targetsProficiency in using CRM software and understanding of sales processesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationshipsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentBachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field is preferredWillingness to travel as neededDesired skills:Experience in the education, publishing or EdTech industryFamiliarity with digital sales tools and techniquesProven ability to adapt to new technologies and processes quicklyStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisionsMultilingual abilities are a plus
