Ensure that new client has clear understanding of the services and rates offered in the proposal.
Check that the credit application has been completed in full before processing.
Request financials in support of credit term required.
Check client database for accuracy before implementation.
Complete weekly call reports.
If required draw up an SLA and SOP.
Assist finance with collection of outstanding payments on clients secured.
Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients on all levels.
Respond to and resolve client queries.
Assist with client shipping estimates.
Meet with operations to implement special service requirements for new clients.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric
Proficient in Excel
Minimum of 5 years in Freight Forwarding and Clearing (not Courier)
Candidate must be comfortable with New Business Development (hunters).
Portfolio growth experience (KAM) must be accompanied by New Business Development - we dont want candidates who only have KAM experience / who only want to do KAM.
