Business Development Manager (BDM) - HospitalityOur client is seeking a Business Development Manager, who would assist their customers achieve their potential by providing them with business intelligence and a solid growth plan. The Business Development Manager is a vital decision maker, who must be hands and take ownership of their customersJob Type: PermanentLocation: Port Elizabeth/GqeberhaDuties and Responsibilities

  • Call on current hospitality customers (restaurants) as well as cold call on potential customers
  • Strong focus on developing new business by opening new accounts
  • Responsible for the order & delivery process and customer stock management
  • Kitchen staff training, technical advice on storage and usage of product.
  • Supervision of Delivery and Tele-Sales team (2-6 people)
  • Attend regular training meetings
  • Keep abreast with selling strategies and marketing information
  • Maintain accurate customer records.
Minimum Requirements
  • A solid track-record within sales in hospitality or related industries.
  • MINIMUM 7 years sales experience
  • Solid grasp for Mathematics and the ability to think on ones's feet
  • Use of CRM-Skynamo would be an advantage
