Job Description
Role: Business Development SpecialistLocation: Durban SAMinimum requirements:
1. Must have Grade 12, Matric or NQF4 equivalent qualification.
2. Must have a clear criminal record.Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent), ideally in Marketing, Communications or Light Current Electronics.
- At least 5 years in sales/business development, preferably within the automotive, or OEM solutions sector with track record and ability to increase sales, provide technical and after sales support.
- Sound knowledge of the different types of products, services, technologies relating to automotive and vehicle security solutions would be beneficial.
- Skilled at building and nurturing long-term client relationships, understanding customer needs, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Experience in market analysis, business planning, and executing strategies that lead to revenue growth.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to understand and discuss technical requirements in detail, facilitating clear communication between customers and internal teams.
- A natural curiosity about all things tech, with a passion for staying up to date on technological advancements and how they impact the business and customer needs.
- Computer literate Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Syspro advantageous.
- High-level computer skills to enhance support work and interaction with all stakeholders.
