An opportunity has arisen within the Passenger Division for a Business Development Manager responsible for searching and exploring the national markets to expand and strengthen the company's position in the Road Based Passenger and Commuter Market.You well be responsible for identyfying, creatingand nurturing growth oppurtunities within our Commuter, Personnel and Managed Services verticals, in line with our growth strategy. The primary forcus will be to drive business expansion, increase revenue, and build strategic partnerships.Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: 4 year Degree / NQF 7
  • Experience in a similar role: Up to 8 years experience
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Grow the existing business,
  • Search out leads and co-marketing oppurtunities, with a B2B approach,
  • Negotiate with relevant authorities and organisations to ensure the company's products and services are promoted,
  • Investigate existing marketing and business practices and recommend opportunities for improvement with the company,
  • Identify new opportunities and innovative solutions,
  • Identify strategic alliances/ventures,
  • Secure new markets/customers, particulary in respect of commuter/personnel and managed services logistic support and integration into customers,
  • Survey markets and competitor activity,
  • Maintaining a healthy sales pipeline,
  • Develop new ways of providing service,
  • Provide total solutions to customer needs (logistics) inward and outward bound,
  • Be attuned to cross functional team collaboration,
