Minimum of 10 years retail experience with 3 years managerial experience
Experience in assisting struggling stores/franchises is a strong recommendation
Relevant post matric business qualification
Due the nature of the role the vast majority of time will be spent in the field
Must be prepared to travel in the greater Gauteng/North West Provinces and should be based in the north of Johannesburg to limit travel time
Responsibilities:
Building professional relationships with current managers or future store owners
Understanding the markets, customers and competitive environment of the stores allocated to the successful candidate
Compiling business plans in conjunction with store managers/ owners, including budgets, strategies to grow profitable market share through the implementation of the appropriate targeted marketing and advertising methods and tools
Operational planning pertaining to store staff and in-store standards etc.
Utilising in-house resources (e.g. technical for product development) and outsourced marketing partners
Identifying opportunities and plans for store owners to improve their businesses and facilitating the implementation of such plans
