Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to promote Wits Plus's short courses to clients and funders.

Client Acquisition:

Identify and engage with potential clients and sponsors to understand their skills development needs and present customized learning solutions.

Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations.

Market Research:

Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor offerings, and potential opportunities for course development.

Proposal Development:

Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.

Collaboration:

Work closely with academic and administrative teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, tailored training solutions that meet client expectations.

Sales Targets:

Achieve and exceed sales targets and K.P.I.s set by the organization.

Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of business development activities and provide regular reports to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree is advantageous. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the education or corporate training sector. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. Strong understanding of corporate training needs and the ability to design solutions that meet these requirements. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
