  • Develop and coordinate new delivery models, funding models and/or healthcare products
  • Commercialise new delivery developments, funding models and/or healthcare products
  • Develop and drive support processes where required to ensure high quality delivery and integration with core business
  • Set operational direction for business development
  • Manage stakeholder relations
  • Lead and manage the people in the team
REQUIRED EDUCATIONESSENTIAL EDUCATION
  • Degree in Commerce, Actuarial Science or Medicine
DESIRED EDUCATION
  • MBA, MHA, CIMA, or CA
REQUIRED EXPERIENCEESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
  • 8 years commercial experience within private healthcare
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
  • 5 years management experience leading development processes/ evaluations within the Healthcare industry; or
  • 5 years experience within the medical scheme environment
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • All functions and business processes within a private healthcare environment, and how it links together
  • An understanding of SA and international funder/funding mechanisms
  • An understanding of SA and international private healthcare
  • Business and/ or Product development
  • Innovative, entrepreneurial commercial thinking
  • Integrated healthcare delivery models across different care settings
  • Managed care & value-based care models, programs and processes
  • MS Office Suite
  • Project and change management principles
  • Regulatory requirements in a healthcare setting
  • Work across organisations, departments and teams
