Job Description


Our client in the Information Technology industry is currently looking for a Business Development Pro Device, in Midrand, Gauteng.Responsibilities:

  • Segment customer base/needs and target contact mapping.
  • Track monthly customer RAD Plan (Retain, Acquire and Develop) accounts.
  • Understand the development strategy of each brand and implementing/executing growth strategies.
  • Conduct education and training regarding the need for device refresh.
  • Generate, track, convert and close pipeline deals.
  • Scope and design solutions.
  • Ensure involvement in marketing activities & plans.
  • Achieve targets and KPAxe2x80x99s.
  • Attend to face-to-face customer and vendor visits.
  • Understand vendor compensation programs and deal registration processes.
  • Facilitate external education on vendor products/services and processes in line with device refresh.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Attend bi-weekly category meetings to ensure vendor alignment with sales strategy.
  • Act as subject matter expert on Pro devices for Dell, HP and Lenovo.
  • Complete training and certifications.
  • Stay constantly updated with all developments and trends in the market.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience working in a logistics environment.
  • Minimum of 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience collaborating with sales teams.
  • 3 xe2x80x93 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in an IT Sales position.
  • Previous experience selling and working with customers at all levels of an organization including high-profile customers.
  • Proven track record of sales success (preferably within the ICT Distribution industry)
  • Working experience in a customer service environment.
  • Experience building relationships both externally and internally.
  • Prior experience working in a target driven position (minimum of three years)
  • Matric, preferably with mathematics.
  • A Tertiary qualification and/or a relevant Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or IT will be an advantage.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Must have MS Excel Skills at a minimum of an Intermediate level and be able to use formula, calculations, pivot tables and V-Lookups in a spreadsheet.
  • Strategic thinker with strong planning and execution skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written business communication skills.
  • Able to complete basic calculations (ability to work with numbers)
  • Organized individual who is deadline driven with good time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
Remuneration:
  • R70 000 xe2x80x93 R80 000 per month.
