POSITION TITLE: Business Development Representative
DEPARTMENT: SalesWe are a fast-growing telehealth provider group that focuses on mental health and substance use disorder. POSITION SUMMARY:The Business Development Representative is responsible for all outreach activities, including developing and executing a growth plan for the territory. The role involves promoting our programs and services through interactions with business owners, decision-makers, and development representatives via telephone and email correspondence.This individual must have outstanding organizational and sales skills, be an excellent communicator who understands customer needs, be goal-driven, and have a strong desire for success.II. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct outside sales calls through cold-calling or scheduled appointments
  • Set appointments for senior sales associates
  • Maintain an appropriate frequency of contact with key accounts
  • Execute effective territory sales and marketing strategies
  • Responsible for net revenue growth in a defined geography compared to the prior year
  • Analyze data to find the most efficient sales methods
  • Meet with customers to address concerns and provide solutions
  • Discover sales opportunities through consumer research
  • Present products and services to prospective customers
  • Assess sales performance according to KPIs
  • Monitor competition within the assigned region
  • Weekly interaction with sales leadership
  • Meet key performance measurements, including an average of 30+ quality calls per day
  • Continually adapt growth plan and strategy
  • Promote the entire portfolio of the company's programs and services
  • Utilize all avenues for customer contact, including electronic platforms
  • Log contact and sales tracking information in the company CRM system daily
  • Assure the visibility of the organization within alcoholism/substance abuse and other referral communities
  • Provide timely follow-up on opportunities identified in patient satisfaction surveys to improve overall client satisfaction
  • Participate in ongoing sales development
III. ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:A. Education and Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Representative or Outside Sales Representative
  • Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; phone sales experience is a must
  • Bachelors Degree strongly preferred, with a concentration in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Experience in the healthcare industry preferred
  • Familiarity with addiction/recovery treatment, including 12-step programs
  • Demonstrated excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Comfortable making outbound sales calls
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus

  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality, including knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 concerning patient information
