Business Development Representative (JB4056)
Johannesburg, Gauteng
R15 000 - R20 000 plus commission structure
Duration: Permanent

Our client, a dynamic distributor specializing in world-renowned apparel, is offering an exciting opportunity for an external Business Development Rep to join their vibrant team. They are looking for a motivated and experienced sales professional to drive sales growth and maintain strong client relationships in the Gauteng region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in external sales within the apparel and accessory industry, coupled with a passion for business development.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
2-4 years of proven experience in external sales, preferably within the apparel or accessory industry.
Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas.
Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships.
Self-motivated with a drive for success and achievement.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Google Docs/Sheets and working knowledge of CRM systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Prospect and qualify new sales leads within the designated region.
Schedule and conduct engaging presentations to prospects.
Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities and maintain up-to-date information.
Communicate customer and prospect product requirements to relevant departments.
Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and opportunities.
Cultivate and nurture ongoing relationships with prospects and customers.
Meet or exceed sales quotas on a consistent basis.
Coordinate with internal team members and departments to optimize sales efforts.
Provide weekly reports and assist with budgeting as required.
