A top marketing company is looking for a business development rep to join their fast growing team based in Somerset West.
A business development rep is responsible for finding, qualifying, booking demos, and closing the deal. But no cold calling!
The business development rep is at the heart of our team, helping us to connect with and close clients. We're hiring this role to take work off of our team's plate.
Your day will include calling new incoming leads, dropping flyers at local businesses, attending networking events, and attending sponsored golf days.
This is a hybrid role, with around 2 days in our offices in Somerset West per week.
You will get leads in the following ways:
Incoming leads from our marketing - 10-20 per week.
Networking events
Golf days & sponsored events
Local business canvasing
What are we looking for?
A go getter attitude! No one is going to baby sit you in this position, so we need someone who is going to be pushing themselves.
An understanding of relationship-based selling.
An interest in marketing and helping small businesses to grow.
Not scared of phone calls.
Someone who gels well with our team
Equipment will be provided.
Drivers Licenses and own car is required.
Must be based close to Somerset West.
Remuneration:
Base salary of R5000 - R7000 depending on experience.
Lucrative commission structure. (Earning a total income of R15000 a month should be a breeze.)
A performance based expense account to cover specific sales related expenses such as networking events.
A lucrative companywide quarterly bonus structure.
