You are responsible for the management, collection, analysis, and interpretation of datasets to inform decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have the ability to leverage integration, process automation, and use modern technologies to deliver data-driven business solutions. You will also be responsible for overseeing technical aspects and day-to-day operations of the data assets and business intelligence infrastructure, ensuring optimum performance, accuracy, and efficient delivery of business intelligence services.What will be expected of you?1.Data Architecture and BI Solutions:Design, develop, and maintain data architecture, data pipelines, and data warehouses.Create business intelligence solutions.2.Data Quality and Security:Ensure data quality, integrity, availability, and security across all data sources.Performance Optimization:Optimize data warehouse, pipelines, reports, visualizations, and queries for efficiency.3.BI System Availability:Maintain consistent performance of business intelligence systems.4.Data Integration and Insights:Implement and manage data integration jobs.Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.5.Automation and Process Improvement:Analyse information and automate processes for efficiency.Support critical production systems.6.Technical Leadership:Provide technical guidance to the team.Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.Are you qualified?IT degree or relevant qualificationsDid you do this before?5+ years' experience in a similar roleDo you have what it takes?1.Advanced Technical Skills:Data Warehouse, ETL, and BI: Understand data warehousing, ETL pipelines, and Microsoft BI tools.SQL Server Administration: Manage Microsoft SQL Server databases.Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO): Optimize SQL Server performance.SSIS and SSRS: Create and maintain SSIS jobs and SSRS reports.Power Platform: Familiar with Power BI, Power Automate, and PowerApps.DAX: Build Power BI models using DAX.2.Domain Knowledge:Understand FMCG retail and/or hospitality industry.Familiarity with ecommerce and point of sale platforms.3.Advanced Experience:Leverage integration, process automation, and AI technologies for business solutions.There is a seat for you at our table.We are committed to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging and will make an appointment in line with these objectives.
