Job Summary
Minimum requirements for the role:
- Must have a tertiary qualification in Business Management
- Minimum 10 years experience in the business environment, with exposure to marketing and sales will be required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to effectively communicate safety-related information to diverse audiences will be required for this role
- Learning and comprehending the intricacies of the ostrich feather industry, including supply chain dynamics and operational processes within the feathers division processing facility.
- Developing into a global marketeer of ostrich feathers, leveraging acquired competencies and qualities.
- Managing all aspects of business processes, including financial, operational, marketing, and sales processes.
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies to achieve objectives, maintaining current markets and expanding to new buyers.
- Engaging in international travel for liaison and negotiation with feather buyers.
- Demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills.
- Utilising negotiation skills to facilitate business deals effectively.
- Collaborating within a team environment while also being capable of independent work as required.
