Your Role
Objective: Drive top-line growth by fostering and managing strong customer relationships, including regional key accounts, and executing sales strategies across the water industry. Lead and motivate cross-functional teams (EAM/IAM), develop and implement business plans, identify high-potential customers for growth, and enhance sales process efficiency while leveraging Application Development Management to expand sales opportunities
Responsibilities
Driving Business Results:Strategic development of Brenntag SA's position in the Water Treatment Industry Portfolio management (review and expansion) Business responsibility (ideal EBITDA/ CM-level) Working capital resp. (SC stock management/ Acc Rec.) Optimizing margins by sales price definition Budget, order management, procurement, inventory management.

Sales and Business Development:Identify synergies and create new sales and added-value service opportunities with existing and new customers Grow sales of all products (BES and BSP) and all services (including blends), across all industry segments and geographies. Ensure successful regional implementation of all centrally coordinated commercial projects.

Leadership/Relationship ManagementDevelop strategic relationships with key decision makers and influencers in water industry. Manage, recruit and train sales team Develop strong relationships with Brenntag internal colleagues and have the ability to manage and influence, without having direct authority. Provide expert industry and product support/advise as required

Your Profile
SkillsProven track record of success in the Water Treatment or related industry, with experience managing regional key accounts. Strong ability to lead, motivate, and coach cross-functional teams (EAM/IAM) to achieve business goals. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse commercial networks. Proficiency in data analysis to track performance, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.

ExperienceMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in the water treatment industry or a closely related chemical sector. Experience in selling to large and complex, multi-country/regional customers Proven track record in business strategy development, sales growth, and portfolio management. Demonstrated ability to manage P&L responsibilities, including EBITDA and working capital metrics such as stock management and accounts receivable. Experience in identifying synergies, creating sales opportunities, and implementing regional commercial projects. Knowledge of budget management, procurement, and inventory optimization within a complex supply chain.

EducationMatric or NQF Equivalent Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. A postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) would be advantageous.
