To effectively manage and increase both the profitability and the product portfolio for the business.To effectively manage financial services products and key stakeholder relationships to ensure sustainedproduct and portfolio growth. To ensure PEPmoney projects are successfully implemented within scope, timeand cost parameters. To fulfill the role of a senior product owner.Key ResponsibilitiesTo ensure that financial budgets are met for the Financial yearDevelop business cases to improve product portfolioEngage with Risk and Compliance to ensure that all processes and products are compliantNegotiate deals and manage relationships with suppliers and partnersEngage with PEPKOR legal on new and existing contractsCollaborate with the Marketing department to build dynamic campaignsOngoing project management within agreed timelines and through engagement with stakeholdersEnsure relationships are managed with all internal and external stakeholdersEnsure all administrative work are completed within expected timelinesNew products and services are negotiated and confirmed on an ongoing basis with partnersContinuous improvement / growth on portfolioRequired Knowledge, Skills and CompetenciesRelevant tertiary qualification (e.g. B.com/ Marketing degree)3- 5 years of related work experience (either insurance or credit/sales or loans or bill payments; fintechproducts, tech products and banking)Clear understanding of how transactional banking products work and how to derive revenue from thisExperience in the payments environment will be an advantageMust have worked in a debit/credit card product environmentUnderstanding of the National Payments SystemsAny experience within the financial services industry will be an advantageStock forecasting/Management (for tech products)Product management (financials/business cases, projects, analysis)Computer Literate (MS Office or G-Suite) xe2x86x92 Intermediate Excel/Google Sheets levelProject management will be an advantageMultiple Partner ManagementStakeholder managementRelationship /partnership management skillsFinancial ReportingDraft business casesNumerical aptitudeAnalytical skillsBusiness analysisCompetencies required: Accuracy; Dutifulness; Planning; Creating Support; SituationalAwareness; Drive; Flexibility and Stress Resistance.If you do not hear from us within 4 weeks of the closing date of this position, please regard your application as being unsuccessful.PEP strives for equal opportunity in terms of its employment equity guidelines.CLOSING DATE: Monday 27 May 2024
