Job Description


Position : Business Performance Leader (Warehouse)Purpose of the roleTo support the efficient and effective warehouse operations by overseeing and improving internal process controls, managing financial budgets and costs, ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures, and fostering a cohesive team environment. The role aims to optimize supply chain performance, uphold company values, and contribute to achieving logistical targets and business objectives through strategic planning and execution of action plans.Main responsibilities:Supporting and Developing Economic Value CreationCoordinates the financial process objectives of the warehouse P&L. Documents the year-end forecast and the quantitative objectives for the upcoming year with the approval of the Warehouse Leader.Independently sets the objectives in collaboration with the members of the Management Committee.Propose action plans if necessary. Provides individual support to members of the Management Committee and Department Managers to develop action plans aimed at optimizing productivity within E-Commerce, X-dock and Store Replenishment activities .Optimize the controllable expenses of the entity while ensuring its sustainability.Analyzes Personnel Expenses, and productivity. Communicates Warehouse Company action plans to the Management Committee. Shares insights and support in the Management Committee and alerts them, if necessary, of any discrepancies.Ensures that the services provided by external contractors comply with the negotiated contracts. Makes necessary adjustments to ensure that controllable expenses align with set objectives, adhering to principles of accounting regularity.Analyzes and alerts on observed imbalances in loss prevention. Guarantees a constant level of security in the warehouse and allocates appropriate resources.Works with the Personnel and Human Resources Manager to plan Personnel Expenses.Stock ManagementTo ensure full compliance of Inventory procedure implementation minimizing risk and mitigating shrinkage within Inventory.Supports and recommends process improvements and optimization of various activity flows within warehouse operations.Planning of monthly/fiscal cycle counts for maintaining a high level of stock accuracy at all times. Achieves satisfactory audit results (inventory and internal control). Management of stock investigation processes.Management of shelf life items - communicating with the Planning team in coordinating with suppliers.To ensure that back up collaborators are trained, evaluated and signed off for all critical areas within the warehouse.Ensuring solutions are provided on areas where KPIs are not metInternal ControlsEnsures that the security controls specified by the company are known and conducted (daily security check by the permanent staff, monthly and quarterly audits).Compiles and monitors unknown loss prevention plans.Leads internal control across all teams in the warehouse, relying on Internal Control Guidelines Ensures compliance with procedures (particularly through the principle of checks and balances). Alerts and ensures correction of any malfunctions.Ensures the relevance of the Unknown Loss Prevention plan and oversees its implementation: a measurable plan based on inventory results. Manages inventories and ensures the reliability and efficiency of operations.Manage high-quality customer relationships (internal and external). MANAGE adherence.Ensures responsiveness in addressing internal and external customers. Raise awareness about fulfilling customer promises and participates in promoting Customer Satisfaction Survey results among warehouse employees.Implements actions to contribute to improving customer satisfaction results in the warehouse.The availability and quality of relationships in their department are recognized by both internal and external customers.Manage compliance with procedures and rules regarding the safety of people and property.Ensures the implementation of security procedures. Identifies and assesses risky situations and implements corrective actions. Participates in prevention actions implemented in the warehouse.Promotes ergonomic and safety initiatives within their department. Analyzes recurring dysfunctions, responds, proposes, and implements prevention actions for the comfort of customers and teams.Remains vigilant and continuously alert regarding safety. Corrects and ensures correction of any risky situations that endanger customers, employees, and service providers.Degree in Business Administration/Supply Chain/ Finance/Accounting, or related field.Previous roles as Internal Control Manager, Operations, Inventory Manager in a warehouse environment.Proven leadership experience, adept at constructive expression of ideas and fostering teamwork.Experience in strategic planning and executing action plans in a retail environment.Strong communication, and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive work environment and aligning team goals with organizational objectives.Strong understanding of inventory management, and merchandising techniques.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Proficiency in inventory management systems.Customer-focused approach and ability to drive a high-performance team.Ability to open and close the warehouse as a duty manager.
