Job Description


Primary Responsibilities (i.e., What You Should Already Know How to Do):
Offer SAP users guidance in daily transactionsbecause, lets be honest, they will need it
Escalate their inevitable issues to Group SAP Support while maintaining a dignified level of patience
Engage in intellectual discourse with SAP consultants to resolve these unsolvable issues
Assess, refine, and implement business process improvements (because there is always room for improvement)
Develop SAP cue cards, because some things are just too complicated for mere mortals to remember
Conduct trainingthough I recommend flashcards and frequent quizzes to ensure comprehension
Maintain master data with the precision of a Vulcan, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Analyze financial statements, particularly the impact of master data and pricing conditionsfascinating, I know
Execute and scrutinize monthly costing runs. Fun!
Ensure timely reporting of key performance metricsbecause what is data without punctuality?
Work with regional and group SAP teams to implement groundbreaking projects.
Maintain a meticulous ticket tracking register. Because some people need reminders of what they broke
Ensure SAP compliance with laws across South Africa, Zambia, and Swazilandlest we incur legal repercussions
Oversee SAP user authorizations, because not everyone can be trusted with the buttons
Lead the Business Process Support team, guiding them toward excellence (or at least competence)Requirements (or Why You Should Feel Honored to Apply):
A relevant qualification in SAP, Business Process Management, or something equally impressive
5-10 years of SAP support experiencebecause, lets face it, we dont want amateurs
Extensive knowledge of SAP FI, MM, PP, QM, SDif you have to Google these, stop reading now
An affinity for Project Managementwhich means you must enjoy structured timelines and relentless follow-ups
Mastery of Microsoft Excel (yes, people still struggle with pivot tables, and no, I dont understand why)
Superior analytical skills, because this role requires logic, not guesswork
Excellent communication and collaboration abilitiesthough, personally, I prefer email over face-to-face interactions
A remarkable ability to manage multiple support requests without descending into chaos
