Description

We are looking for a Manager to work within our Business Services team, who is ambitious, curious, creative and articulate. The successful candidate will work on a mixed portfolio and help to develop trainees and seniors. They will be directly reporting to one of our Client Service Directors. The role will also include some business development.



The role will be fully office-based for the first three months to support a smooth onboarding process, with the option to transition to a hybrid working arrangement thereafter.###

Key Responsibilities

Managing a portfolio of growing businesses, involving reviewing various assignments and giving advice to clients where required. Management of individual clients to ensure the various deadlines are achieved in a timely manner Attending client meetings when required Assisting the Client Service Director with raising fee notes and management of work-in-progress Support Client Service Director and Partner in one-off project-based assignments Motivate, train, and develop Trainees, Seniors and other colleagues as appropriate including some line management responsibilities

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Keen to progress your career within a forward-thinking accountancy firm SAIPA/ACCA qualified with at least 2 years post-qualification experience gained in an accountancy practice A knowledge of various software packages including cloud-based packages Ambitious and passionate about what you do and have strong communication and team working skills Experience in developing other members of your team Organised, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Some line management experience would be desirable
