Promote Mediamark and Brands to clients - position Mediamark as an authority on their brands positioning and objectives.

Oversee the active focus on and use of data and insight in the teams proposals and presentations.
Work closely with product development teams in developing, commercialising, and implementing new packages for media sales team to offer to advertisers.
Manage, Motivate and drive the team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Take action to meet customer needs and concerns by responding quickly to customers needs and resolve problems.
Initiate and participate in sales pricing and tactical pricing initiatives with Business Intelligence Team
Develop and manage sales strategy in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Ongoing measurement of sales plans to ensure revenue budgets are achieved and sales behaviour exceeds expectations.
To ensure Performance Improvement Programmes are consistently rolled out for underperforming team members.
To ensure all reporting requirements are accurately completed timeously including amongst others, all CRM/Pipefy (pipelines, activity tracking, accurate client and data capturing etc.)
To assist in all relevant strategic review and planning meetings and ensure presentation content is timeously submitted and professionally captured.
Focus on the development and retention of human talent, including a formalized success project plan for management roles and other high value positions.
Focus on Stakeholder management with high visibility with internal and external Stakeholders.
Participate in Mediamark leadership meetings where required.
Knowledge transfer and sales talent development:
Providing support, leadership & coaching to the sales team, as well as the other sales teams
Sharing knowledge and learnings of Audio and integrated solutions within Mediamark and to the industry
Enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role, both on the job and through focussed training.
Ensure proper administration requirements are fulfilled within the portfolio as well as across the teams.
Assist with the recruitment of sales staff.
Perform monthly scorecard evaluations and interval Performance Appraisals.
Work with the Talent Manager to ensure all new sales staff have a detailed training plan.
Provide timely, specific feedback to sales team to improve performance and recognise good performance.
Critique own performance as a means of self- improvement
Manage conflict and problem resolution.
Effectively manage team leave monthly.
Manage payroll requirements monthly including commissions, travel, and expense claims.
Qualifications
Sales and Marketing Degree/Diploma preferred
Supplementary Media, digital and Sales training courses required.
Minimum of 8-10 years sales management experience - media sales preferable

Experience
Min 8 -10 years in senior media Sales Management including Client Service/Key Account management experience.
Extensive knowledge of the advertising industry including Radio & Digital Sales and Marketing

Proven Industry relationships & communication skills.
