Job Summary Hire Resolve's client who is in the detergent manufacturing industry is looking for a Buyer to join their team in Gauteng.Responsibilities:

• Source and procure raw materials, packaging materials, and other supplies needed for detergent manufacturing operations
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and negotiate favorable terms and pricing
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained
• Work closely with production, quality control, and other departments to ensure that materials meet specifications and quality standards
• Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Keep abreast of market trends, pricing fluctuations, and regulatory changes that may impact purchasing decisions
• Prepare and review purchase orders, contracts, and other documentation related to procurement activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a buyer in the detergent manufacturing industry or a similar role
• Knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain management principles, and industry trends
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the detergent manufacturing industry
• Must be available immediately
