Hire Resolve's client is seeking a Buyer with experience in the electrical industry to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing electrical products and components for the company's operations. • Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality products.
• Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and identify new suppliers if necessary.
• Monitor market trends and stay updated on industry developments.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand product requirements and specifications.
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance and resolving any issues.
• Prepare reports and analyze data to inform purchasing decisions.

Requirements

• Supply Chain Management Certificate
• 3-5 years of experience in the electrical field, working directly in the sales/buying department
• Compliance with procurement legislation
• Proven purchasing experience, within an electrical distribution, supplier, or manufacturing environment
• Contract management and materials supplier experience
• Strong market knowledge and experience in the Electrical and lighting industry
• Tender and commercial requirements
