BUYER/LOGISTICS - EAST LONDON xe2x80x93 Our client in the Agriculture Industry is looking for a Buyer with a strong background in Finance/Bookkeeping. Must be HIGHLY proficient in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, formulas) etc.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSGrade 12Bookkeeping/Finance experience is essentialStrong verbal and written communication in English and AfrikaansProficiency in Pastel AdvantageousAbility to work fast and efficientlyIndependent thinkingMinimum 2-3 Yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar positionLIST OF DUTIES:Costings of stock- replacement costs for pricelists- presenting costing to Imports manager for approval, costings to be used for customer quotes xe2x80x93 this includes getting estimates from clearing agents and suppliers as well as any additional expenses and quantifying cost of goods.Costing of goods transferred internally between branchesDealing with prices from suppliers alongside imports managerPlacing of orders with suppliers xe2x80x93 checking supplier sales orders/proformas against our purchase orders, querying any irregularities xe2x80x93 then presenting to sales person for approval xe2x80x93 then sending signed and approved orders through to suppliersUpdating imports schedules with new orders and assigning correct internal reference numberChecking pricing on commercial invoices received from supplier against purchase orders and sales orders once checked and all in order passing on to logistics controllerChecking pre-QC reports & sending to technical manager for approvalChecking QC reports from branches and sending onto technical manager for approvalSalary xe2x80x93 Market related depending on experienceAPPLICATION PROCESS: Online applications will receive preference, ensure you upload a head and shoulder photo, alternatively e-mail CV with qualifications and recent head and shoulder photo to solutions@workafrica.co.za, ensure you use xe2x80x9cBUYEREL" as a reference in the subject field.
