Exciting Opportunity! We are looking for a skilled CAD Artist / Junior Fashion Designer to join a leading supplier to South Africa's major fashion retail chains. Based in Durban, this role involves working closely with the Senior Designer to deliver high-quality designs.Key Responsibilities:
- CAD Creation: Produce accurate, visually engaging one-page CADs, ensuring all elements align with project specifications and creative briefs.
- Artwork Development: Assist with final briefs and repeat artwork, maintaining consistency in style and design as directed by the Senior Designer.
- Speed and Accuracy: Work with efficiency to meet tight deadlines without compromising accuracy and quality.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the Senior Designer and team members to ensure seamless workflow and alignment with project goals.
- Independent Work: Take initiative on assigned tasks, demonstrating the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within the design team.
- Proficiency in Design Software: Solid experience with CAD software and design tools (specify programs like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, AutoCAD).
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines consistently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear interaction with team members and the Senior Designer.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all design work.
