High-Level Overview

Client:

The client is an environmental consultancy that works with communities and governments globally, helping them adapt to biodiversity and climate change challenges. They offer services in climate change adaptation, conservation of biodiversity and restoration of degraded ecosystems, community resilience & integration into climate solutions, and carbon capture through restoration and conservation of ecosystems.

Project:

The client is seeking a consultant to 2-day conduct a review of a VM0042 project feasibility study for improved agricultural land management.###

An independent report on the consultants' findings from the feasibility study regarding: + Project design
+ Methodology choice
+ Applicability of methodology chosen
+ Eligibility of project activities
+ Project risks
+ Technical review of carbon calculations
+ Verra and VVB related things to consider/look out for
+ Recommendations for areas of improvement
+ 1 hour feedback and Q&A session

Requirements

Experience Required:

Significant experience in the carbon markets & the assessment of carbon projects' feasibility

Technical Requirements:

Experience with Verra methodology

Soft Skills:

Strong professional toolkit
