The customer experience is always at the front of our minds here at Yuppiechef and card writing is a tradition that has been in place since the very first parcel was shipped to our first real customer. We consider our cards to be an important part of our service offering and are looking for a team member to help us ensure well written, genuine and personal cards are created.

  • Must live in an easily commutable vicinity of our head office in Westlake.
  • You feel energised when talking about food, cooking, entertaining and homeware
  • Creative and imaginative and can draw on inspiration from various sources
  • Remains calm under pressure
  • Enjoys the challenge of making repetitive tasks interesting and efficient
  • Can effectively self-manage time and prioritise
  • A team player with a collaborative and supportive nature
  • Comfortable working with computer-based systems
  • Able to readily engage with colleagues
  • Excellent handwriting and language skills
  • You have a strong sense of responsibility for creating a memorable experience and working alongside a team representing our retail brand in every way possible
What this role looks like:
  • Office-based role (Mondays - Fridays)
  • Occasional shifts on public holidays and Saturdays during periods of high order volumes
  • Fulfilling customer card requests and business needs
  • Ensuring customer orders are fulfilled as quickly as possible
  • Working in a collaborative manner across the Customer Support team
What experience and skills you need for the role:

This role is best suited for an innovative and proactive problem solver.

Ideally, you should have:
  • Good computer literacy and basic knowledge of IT
  • Basic administrative skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Attention to detail to recognise if there are any oddities that creep into our cards or address checks
  • Well organised & neat worker
  • Respectful and friendly nature
  • Above all, a great desire to make our customers happy!

Pay and Benefits:

We pay competitive, market-related salaries based on skills and experience, and a discretionary profit share based on the company's performance.

Your salary is based on a Total Cost To Company model and includes:
