Cardiac Technician Required - NewcastleFull job descriptionConducting electrocardiogram (ECG).Conducting echocardiogram (Echo).Conducting Carotid doppler scan and stress tests by using electronic equipment for both in-hospital and out of hospital patients.Attach and analyse holters and ABPM devices and send reports to doctor.Carotid arterial dopplers and neck vessel flow assessments.Ensuring cardiology patients are comfortable by answering any questions they have about the tests.Recording the results of tests done and sending to the doctor for discussion.Assisting the doctor during non-evasive cardiological procedures by monitoring the patients' heart rates and alerting the doctor to any readings outside normal ranges.Maintaining cardiological equipment and supplies with daily cleanings and adjustments.Recording supply inventory levels and restocking the supply storeroom accordingly.Troubleshooting problems with cardiological equipment and reporting any malfunctions to superiors.Staying up-to-date with cardiological developments by attending conferences and participating in research project.Job Type: Full-timePay: R30 000,00 - R35 000,00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)Education:Diploma (Preferred)Experience:Cardiac Technician Required: 2 years (Preferred)Location:Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal (Preferred)Application Deadline: 2024/07/31
