Education: Care worker Certificate Responsibilities xe2x80xa2 Assistance with daily activities: Helping with dressing, grooming, and bathing as needed. xe2x80xa2 Meal preparation: assist with feeding when necessary. xe2x80xa2 Medication management: Ensuring medications are taken on time (with guidance from family or medical professionals). xe2x80xa2 Companionship: Providing social and emotional support, engaging in conversation, and participating in activities to keep the individual mentally stimulated. xe2x80xa2 Housekeeping: Light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living environment. xe2x80xa2 Monitoring health: Observing the elderly person's health and well-being, reporting any changes to the medical professionals. xe2x80xa2 Mobility assistance: Helping with movement around the facility, ensuring safety when walking or transitioning to the chair or assistive devises. Requirements xe2x80xa2 Proven experience as a Care worker for 5 years + in a hospital environment. xe2x80xa2 Qualification: Nursing or a equivalent caregiver qualification. xe2x80xa2 Patience and compassion: Ability to offer emotional and physical support in a caring manner. xe2x80xa2 Reliability and trustworthiness: Dependability is key, as this is a full-time position. xe2x80xa2 Good communication skills: Comfortable with clear communication with the elderly person and their family members. xe2x80xa2 Physical stamina: Able to assist with physical tasks such as lifting.
