Delivery Driver
Job Description
We are currently seeking an exceptional truck driver to work in our logistics and supply chain section in a safe and timely manner. Successful candidate will ensure to transport finished goods and raw materials over land from and to manufacturing plants, retail and distribution centre, route planning and meeting schedules and check delivery vehicle for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
Duties
Transportation of finished goods, raw materials through land to and fro distribution, retails centre’s and manufacturing plants
Maneuver truck to offloading and loading zone
inform management of any violations, accidents and defects
Check delivery van for any mechanical fault, safety issue and perform preventative maintenance
Abide by trucking standard regulations, rules and well as company procedures and policies
Plan delivery scheduled and routes
Ensure to collect and confirm delivery instructions
Duties
Valid SA Driver / International Permit
Grade 10-12 or equivalent
Proven history truck driving experience
