Deputy General Manager.
High End exclusive 5* Game Lodge - Northern Botswana
Deputize General Manager during his absence ; manage & control all departments of this large 5* Game Lodge.
8 - 10 years senior management experience in large 5* Game Lodges
Excellent Food and Beverage Management experience and skills required in large 5* Game Lodges
Food and Beverage related operations must be the major attribute of the prospective candidate, developing relevant new experiences for our guests.
Enforcing efficient and accurate stock and operating equipment controls.
Developing Food and Beverage staff and help improving our sustainable business practices
The prospective candidate must have a Hospitality Management qualifications - 3 year Diploma or Degree,
have worked internationally (East African countries would be advantages)  in a Medium to Large 5* Game Lodge environment.
Requirements :
3 year Hospitality  Management qualification - Diploma or Degree.
Proven experience with an exceptional track record as a Deputy General Manager
A minimum of  7 - 10 years’ experience working as Senior & Deputy GM in a 5* Game Lodge
A proven and positive history of developing and empowering staff;
A proven and positive history of meeting targeted outcomes;
Able to demonstrate the ability to build, lead and motivate a competent and effective management team;
A proven positive history working with local communities;
Have knowledge, passion and experience for hospitality and conservation;
Strong Administration skills and Administration packages certificates beneficial
Be mature, highly professional and enjoy working in a remote bush environment, understand,
and have the necessary initiative to deal with day to day challenges this environment presents.
Candidate should have strong practical lodge operational skills, this should include knowledge on general maintenance, front office, housekeeping,
guest services and lodge logistics.

Be a ambassador for the company leading from the front especially in regards to guest relations
Assist General Manager planning and submit annual budget.
Salary P 35 000 per month gross (+- us$ 3238.00 or ZAR 4585.00 – 29/04/2021)
Full board.
Employee will be provided with house that consists of 1 bedroom, one bathroom, lounge (with furnishing) , open plan kitchen with fridge & stove (+ basic utensils).
Two return flights Kasane – JHB per year.
50% Medical aid paid by company on company approved med aid.
Get staff bed night privileges at lodge and in the Desert & Delta group.
Laundry service for uniform, private clothing, linen (provided) twice weekly maid service.
