Job Description
Our client a medium size contractor specializing in the construction of luxury residential projects in Cape Town require qualified carpenters to do installations on projects across Cape Town.The ideal candidate will have experience working on luxury homes and a keen eye for detail, ensuring the highest quality of craftsmanship.Key Responsibilities:
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures, including framing, doors, windows, and cabinetry for high-end residential properties.
- Assist in the assembly and stripping of formwork for intricate concrete structures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans to meet client specifications.
- Work with a variety of materials such as wood, metal, and drywall to achieve top-tier finishes.
- Collaborate with other trades and site managers to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Supervise and check on sub-contractors appointed to the project.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in carpentry, preferably within luxury or high-end residential projects.
- Ability to interpret and follow technical drawings and blueprints.
- Expertise in fine finishes, including detailed woodwork, trims, and custom features.
- Familiarity with carpentry tools and equipment, and ability to work with various materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional craftsmanship.
