With our guidance, our clients can make bold, strategic decisions with confidence.About the role:This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day cash processing for Euromonitors 16 global offices through excellent customer service and the management of two Cash and Banking Executives. This role will work closely with the global Finance, Accounts Payable and established Cash, Banking & Treasury Team to ensure payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner.What youll be doing:

  • Managing the daily and weekly processing of payments to ensure global supplier and staff payments are processed on time, whilst ensuring all requests are approved in accordance with operational guidelines
  • Managing the daily posting of incoming/outgoing transactions on the accounting system within operational processing deadlines
  • Working with the Management Accounts team and the wider finance team to ensure transactions are accurately coded onto Microsoft Dynamics365, using the pre-determined and agreed standardized posting systems for Euromonitor global offices, and unknown transactions investigated
  • Ensuring the most efficient and cost-effective method of payment method is utilised at all times
  • Working with the Cash, Banking & Treasury Team to ensure there are sufficient funds to meet committed payments and operational requirements
  • Reviews of daily and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Working with the Credit Controllers and the Sales Order Processing team to ensure that all incoming debtors payments and web receipts are identified and processed correctly
  • Ensuring that all month-end processes are completed in accordance with the department timetable
  • Ensuring all required journals are posted and review reconciliations of control accounts
  • Training and development of the Cash and Banking team
  • Ensuring controls, consistency and required supporting documentation are maintained as per operational guidelines and audit requirements
  • Managing relationships with the wider business, through efficient, timeous and proactive communication
  • Managing audit queries in relation to Cash and Banking and ensure timely responses to queries
  • Highlighting and implementing process improvements within the Cash, Banking & Treasury Team
  • Any ad hoc duties as required
What you'll bring:
  • The ability to showcase strong customer service skills, with experience of working in a global organization and dealing with customers from across the globe
  • Strong accounting skills including a detailed knowledge of double entry, reconciliation work and bookkeeping skills
  • Fantastic people management skills with at least 3 years experience of managing diverse teams, demonstrating ability to train, develop, coach and appraise individuals and teams
  • At least 3 years experience working in a multi-currency finance department
  • The insight to review and enhance processes within finance functions, using technology where appropriate
  • Solid communication and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is desirable
  • Advanced Excel, including the ability to report using look up tables and pivot tables
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise busy workload
  • A strong work ethic with a proven ability to apply oneself to achieving deadlines and targets
