Job Description
Qualifications and SkillsSuitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
- Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Literate must be able to speak, read and write English.
- 1 to 2 years of experience.
- Cuisine POS experience will be added advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability to different working areas and conditions.
- Good time management skills.
- Computer literacy skills in MS office.
- Stable behaviour and be of sober habits.
- Must be willing to work shifts.
- Must have own accommodation & transport.
- To clean designed areas, in accordance with laid-down procedures and hygiene requirements.
- Collects payments by accepting cards only & charge payments from customers.
- To ensure that damaged items are reported to the manager.
- To serve food and beverage (whether alcoholic or non- alcoholic) in accordance with Harties cableway standards, with courtesy and professionalism.
- Taking orders and ensuring that it is captured correctly on the POS system. Follow up order from kitchen that it reach the customer timeously.
- To clean tables and ensure that they are clean as soon as the customer is finish eating yet allowing the customer the time to finish without feeling rushed.
