Castline Supervisor - DurbanFull job descriptionKey performance areasSupervise Operation of Cast Line Department, to ensure it:Ensure BSC & OHSA standards.Perform to quality, waste, and production standards and goals.Ensure plant and processes run as per IMS standards, SOPs, WI, formats, specifications, best practices/runparameters.Follow SRFs TQM principles & methodology for sustaining current and future continual improvement.Meet or exceed the customers (both internal and external) expectations.Communicate orally (log later) and/or in writing to other departments for resolution of service problems, reportingdefective material, coordination of job preparations, changeovers, and daily shift information.Report production/systems accurately and timely including waste, WIP, time codes, raw materials/MUDI-MUDA-MURA, etc.Ensure your own safety while operating the machine and that of those assisting with operations.Motivate employees to comply with the aboveEnsure participation in training programmes, motivate others in group.Requirements5 years or more of experience supervising extrusion line in a BOPP environment.Diploma in Plastic Manufacturing or relevant Engineering QualificationDiploma in Supervisory ManagementFood Safety CertificateAbility to be self-manage and multitaskAbility to follow directionsAbility to lead and manage the performance of othersTimelinessJob Type: Full-timeAbility to commute/relocate:Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Application Question(s):Do you have experience supervising extrusion line in a BOPP environment?Experience:extrusion line: 5 years (Preferred)License/Certification:qualification (Preferred)
