Purpose of the Job
Drive sales and inventory category performance in order to maximise sales and profits while enhancing product value and customer experience, through focusing on pricing, assortment management, promotion planning, and merchandising.Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Execution
xc2xb7Implement integrative marketing strategies for maximum ROI.
xc2xb7Analyse market data and customer preferences to execute impactful sales strategies.
xc2xb7Maximise sales volumes through effective product mis and pricing optimisation.Sales Analytics and Insights
xc2xb7Proactively identify patterns, trends, and growth opportunities; execute plans to capitalise on market trends.
xc2xb7Implement systems and processes for actionable strategies and optimised conversion rates.
xc2xb7Identify and terminate non-performing product ranges/ lines.Customer Relationships and satisfaction
xc2xb7Serve as the point of contact for escalated client matters originating from branch level; guide clients towards resolutions; collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement comprehensive solutions.
xc2xb7Action alignment among branches for unified customer service delivery.People Management and Development
xc2xb7Develop sales compensation plans to fairly reward employees.
xc2xb7Create a motivating environment and support exceeding targets.
xc2xb7Identify employee potential, develop succession plans, and provide mentoring opportunities.Supplier Management
xc2xb7 Identify suppliers and enter advantageous SLAxe2x80x99s / partnerships with suppliers for provision of products/ product lines.
xc2xb7Negotiate plans to align in-shop experience with product marketing plans.
xc2xb7Liaise with suppliers and branches to execute strategic marketing plans for each branch to improve sales.Inventory planning and management
xc2xb7Determine optimal stock holding level per store to ensure profitability and maximum sales including never out of stock on top sellers.
xc2xb7Implement and maintain stock control policies & procedures.
xc2xb7Listing and delisting of new products and ranges as well as the phase out non-performing stock.Requirements:
xc2xb7A bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in agriculture, business administration, marketing
xc2xb73+ years of experience in agricultural sales and procurement or related fields,
xc2xb7With at least 2-3 years of experience in a managerial role.
