Direct and oversee all product movements and processes within the complex petrochemical terminal, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations. This involves using DCS, SAAB, and other technologies, while strictly adhering to procedures and our safety and service standards.What do we offer you?

What do we expect from you as a Central Control Room Operator (CCRO)?

• Grade 12 qualification
• National Diploma in (Operations/Logistics/Technical/Engineering) (required)
• Transport Controller and Control Room experience (required)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Operations/Shipping/Transport Processes
• Understanding of process automation in a terminal environment
• Knowledge and application of health and safety regulations (OHS Act)
• In-depth knowledge of terminal operations and procedures
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Central Control Room - Direct and oversee all product movements and processes within the complex petrochemical terminal, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations. Utilize advanced control systems (DCS, SAAB, etc.) to manage and direct all product movements and operational processes within the petrochemical terminal. Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations through proactive monitoring, precise adjustments, and timely responses to system data and alarms.
• Road Process - Operate weighbridge, produce tickets and documentation, ensure accurate product transfer. Update stock system.
• Rail Process - Plan and coordinate rail activities, provide work instructions, execute rail loading, coordinate with TFR. Update stock system.
• Shipping Process - Coordinate with agents and surveyors, manage tank dipping and sampling, provide work instructions, verify ullage space, manage Stadis and Dye addition. Update stock system.
• Transfer Processes - Execute fuel and chemical transfers, ensure adequate stock levels for road loading. Update stock system.
• Stock Management - Plan and coordinate pre-dips, provide stock movement reports, ensure reconciliation, support maintenance activities. Update stock system.
• Comingle Pool Management - Ensure quality and surveyor requirements are met, manage transfers.
• Management of Abnormal Conditions - Execute emergency responsibilities, monitor process variables, coordinate information flow, respond to alarms.
