Prepare the three-year capacity projection file based on factories ability to expend within existing facilities or additional facilities
Communicate seasonal calendar to the merch plan
Review planning data in centric (Planning system) and communicate discrepancies identified
Prepare pre-seasonal workings and communicate identified opportunities and capacity constraints
Prepare High-Level seasonal strategy working papers and present to relevant team
Maintain the Fast-React planning Master data
Align seasonal demand with available Capacity within Fast-React
Agree strategic CMT's with Planning Managers and Key Accounts Managers
Calculate the cost of manufacturing and ensure the standard minute rates are adjusted in the system seasonally.
On a Monthly basis monitor the alignment between Seasonal, Commitment and roll-up plans, communicating significant(material) differences to planning managers
Compile and communicate GAP/Overruns report weekly
update the seasonal manufacturing period dates
Ad-hoc planning responsibilities aligned to the business strategy
Follow and maintain existing and new supporting processes, but also continuously looking at improving and implementing where and when required.
Qualifications and Experience:
Matric and relevant qualification (degree/diploma)
Proven working experience in a Manufacturing and Planning environment (3-5years)
Skills:
A high degree of numeracy and an analytical, detailed and strategic approach to work
Strong planning & administration skills and the ability to problem solve
Computer literacy in word and excel (Moderate to Advanced)
Good organisational and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
The ability to work under pressure
