Job Description
Our client based in Mossel Bay is looking to appoint a Shop Assistant.Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Grade 12
- Driverxe2x80x99s license
- Police Clearance essential
- Handle conflict
- Conversant in at least two of the official languages of the Western Cape
- Trustworthy
- Passion for animal welfare
- Attention to small detail is essential
- Retail experience preferably in second hand industry
- Good communication skills
- Product knowledge and selling skills
- Computer literate and make use of technology when required.
- Responsible for cash handling: Take payments, Cash-up
- Good record keeping of incoming stock and item pricing
- Be familiar with Safety and Security Procedures
- Address and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.
- General cleaning of shop
