Job Description


Job Summary Candidate requirements;

  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Grade 12 and teriary education in culinary arts/cookery essential
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of professional culinary hands-on experience in a similar role, in a 5-star boutique or Game Reserve/Lodge environment (essential)
  • Menu development and dietary experience (preferred)
  • Extensive plated service / A la carte experience (essential)
  • Solid knowledge of health and hygiene in the kitchen
  • Be highly familiar with the latest food trends
  • Energetic & proactive with a well-developed concept of the importance of providing a world-class guest experience (preferred)
