Chief Commercial Officer (DFA)








Main Purpose





Development and execution of the commercial strategy for the carrier and enterprise market segments including sales, business development, product lifecycle management, and business solutions to meet customer needs. Identifying new market opportunities, drive business growth and market share.




ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS & TASKS)




Business Development & Strategy




Develop and manage the business development strategy to drive portfolio revenue growth and develop new commercial solutions for the carrier and enterprise portfolio. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, markets, partnerships, and service offerings to better meet the needs of carrier and enterprise clients. Develop commercial and technological business solutions to enhance service offerings and competitive positioning. Plan and execute business development strategies to maximize impact with available resources

Market & Customer Engagement




Maintain close relationships with the market, customers, and stakeholders to ensure a positive customer experience and identify evolving needs. Lead efforts to enhance customer satisfaction and engagement across the carrier and enterprise segments.

Sales Pipeline & Opportunity Management




Manage the sales pipeline by identifying, evaluating, and coordinating all new business opportunities within the carrier and enterprise business. Assess opportunities using a consistent methodology and sound commercial principles to ensure strategic alignment and profitability.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting




Establish key performance metrics and monitor commercial performance to drive continuous improvement. Provide regular performance reports and insights to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments


Competencies and Minimum Requirements:






Qualifications:




A bachelor's degree in business, finance or a related field. A post-graduate degree is advantageous.



Experience




10 years heading and managing sales, or commercial roles and consistently meeting targets. 5 years senior or executive business development, sales, or commercial roles. Experience in the ICT and Telecommunications carrier and enterprise market is highly advantageous. Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience
