Job Description


Supports and participates in establishing the functional requirements and manages the professional and technical processes associated with the provision of an electricity pricing and tariffs service and asupply economics service to internal/external clients.
Key Responsibility Areas

  • Provides support and participates in functional planning processes associated with electricity
and infrastructure pricing priorities and requirements.
  • Provides advice, information and guidance on the principles, procedures, and applications
associated with complex forms of electricity and infrastructure pricing programs and
statistical analysis.
  • Manages the principles and applications associated with the development and presentation
of technical designs for complex forms of electricity reduction techniques and tariff
economics.
  • Manages procedures associated with the preparation, collation of contract documentation
and/or evaluating tender applications for complex engineering works.
  • Defines appropriate standards and controls the implementation/outcomes of complex forms
of engineering contracts.
  • Disseminates information on the professional aspects of electricity and infrastructure pricing
concepts and provides reports detailing interventions and outcomes

Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science (NQF Level 8) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • Registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa as a Professional Engineer in
Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • Valid motor vehicle driving license.
  • 5 Years relevant post qualification in the Electricity Supply Industry.
Preferred Requirements
  • 6 years relevant post registration experience in the Electricity Supply Industry and Energy
pricing and Tariffs.
