Chief Executive Officer - Durban KZN Manufacturing and Production

• Responsible and accountable for the full management and performance of the company.
• Functional responsibility for Marketing, Sales, Customer Relations, Finance, Production, Engineering, Human Resources, Technical and Product Development.
• Responsible for legal compliance related to the operating of the business, including but not limited, the Companies Act, OSH Act, ISO requirements, labour legislation, tax legislation, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• A related and appropriate tertiary qualification is a requirement for the position.
• A post graduate qualification would be an advantage.
• Dependant on qualification, minimum of 6 to 10 years senior management experience in a related Industry would be required. backed by a proven track record.
• Above average/well developed customer relations.
• Previous experience in new business development.
• Experience in developing a consumer brand.
• Previous experience with distributing branded products into retail.
• High level of Computer literacy.
• Exceptional and Proven Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of all disciplines related to a manufacturing operation.
• Proven track record and ability to lead and motivate management and employees.
• Direct involvement with the development and implementation of a Business Strategy
• Previous experience in managing multiple sites would be an advantage.
