Job Description

Our client, a leader in the retail industry, is seeking to appoint an experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to spearhead the company's growth and success. With multiple stores in the KZN province and plans for further expansion, the ideal candidate will possess at least ten years of experience in retail, ideally in the food sector, and must have a proven track record of successfully opening new stores and ensuring seamless operations across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategic initiatives to advance the company's mission and objectives. Provide leadership and guidance to the management team to ensure operational excellence. Oversee financial performance, ensuring robust financial controls and a strong understanding of finance. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organisation. Ensure compliance with in-house systems and regulatory requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and customers.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar executive role within the retail industry, specifically in the food sector. Demonstrated hands-on approach to management and problem-solving. Strong financial acumen and experience with in-house systems. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to drive strategic growth and operational efficiency.
