Our client in the Information Technology industry is currently looking for a Chief Financial Officer, in Centurion, Pretoria.Responsibilities:

• Strategy, Planning, and Analysis: Develop and implement the companys financial and tax strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Manage the capital request and budgeting processes.
• Develop performance measures and monitoring systems that support the company's strategic direction.
• Operations: Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Account Management, Reporting, Supply Chain Management, Legal, Tax, Payroll, and Treasury Departments.
• Oversee the financial operations of international businesses.
• Oversee the company's transaction processing systems.
• Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions.
• Information and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Weekly cash flow.
• Quarterly and annual reports.
• Compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and legal risks to safeguard company assets and maintain fiscal health.
• Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry.
• Construct and monitor reliable control systems.
• Maintain appropriate insurance coverage.
• Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies.
• Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors.
• Funding and Investment:
• Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts.
• Arrange for debt financing and equity financing.
• Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks.

• CA (SA)
• 8 - 10 years post articles experience necessary.
• 6 years Post Articles experience within a Tech industry is a must.
• At least 4 years experience leading a finance team.
• Knowledge:
• Supply Chain.

• Software Industry Good understanding of scripting languages.
