Job Description
Were seeking an experienced, operationally leaning, Chief Financial Officer to oversee the financial aspects of this opencast mining operation. The CFO will play a key role in ensuring the financial growth and stability of the business. You will direct, and manage, the financial operations of the mine.The role will be based just outside of East London, Eastern Cape . You will work hand in hand with the Managing Director, and Chief Operating Officer, and also report to the Group ownership.This role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking to relocate to East London, Eastern Cape.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Financial Department.
- Align Financial objectives and Operational objectives.
- Report on financial performance, strategy, and KPIs.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and planning, with associated deviation analysis, and recommend action plans..
- Identify and mitigate the financial risks of the operation.
- Ensure compliance with South African statutory, and legislative requirements.
- Cashflow management, including facility negotiating.
- CA(SA); CGMA; MBA.
- At least 5 years experience in senior level financial position (required).
- Mining or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Proven record of managing large-scale financial operations, and optimizing financial operations.
- R1,440,000 - R2,000,000 per annum CTC (dependent on candidate experience and qualification/s)
