Hollard Group Risk (HGR) is a Specialist Group Risk Insurer that focuses on the provision of group insurance in South Africa.We are looking to recruit a CHIEF INFORMATION AND TRANSFORMATION OFFICER (CITO)Main purpose of the Job:Our business has inspiring strategic goals which will be enabled through our culture which obsesses over wow customer experiences. We are looking for a strategic and execution-focused Executive to lead the transformation of our asset experience ecosystem. This role is pivotal in driving the migration to a new technology stack, leveraging AI, data and cutting edge technologies to enhance asset usability, engagement of users and clients, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter having demonstrable experience to lead and complete innovative projects that have a demonstratable ROI for the business. The role requires a person who can operationalise innovative solutions whilst ensuring seamless adoption across our business.Key Responsibilities:Technology Transformation

• Oversight and management of the IT activities, to ensure that they are delivered to achieve the HGR business strategic objectives.
• Lead the migration to a modern technology stack, ensuring the smooth adoption within the business
• Assess and adopt emerging technologies that optimize asset performance, user engagement and operational intelligence.
• Ensure effective governance and compliance of the business within the IT Framework.

Data Strategy and Management

• Develop and execute a data-driven strategy to enable smarter asset experiences and decision -making
• Establish governance frameworks for data collection, analysis and compliance with industry standards.

Asset Experience Design & Execution

• Drive the creation of AI-enhanced, user centric asset experiences for our clients and staff
• Collaborate with teams within the business to design intelligent and intuitive digital interactions

Execution & Cross Functional Leadership

• Own the execution of technology initiatives working closely with the respective sponsors
• Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders within the Business, the Hollard Group and External stakeholders and implement organizational strategies, policies and practices.
