Our Client, an International Personal Care and Dermology brand, is looking for a Head of Supply Chain / Chief Operations Officer to join their team in Cape Town.Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Chemical/Mechanical)
• Manufacturing in the personal care industry
• 10 years of practical and hands-on experience at a Senior Management level
• Experience in successfully optimising and leading manufacturing operations.

Role Overview:

• Partner with EXCO and Shareholders to develop and implement operational business strategies.
• Ongoing operational data and metric analysis to identify areas for improvement
• Oversee the entire manufacturing operation, responsible for maximising productivity, optimising processes and ensuring the highest health, safety and manufacturing quality standards are met.
• Meet distribution demands and business objectives by implementing comprehensive production plans.
• Oversee operational activities. This Includes

• Manufacturing
• Warehousing
• Supply Chain
• Packaging
• Purchasing
• Dispatch
• Operations Team and Team Performance
• Focus on continuous improvement to minimise waste and optimise efficiency whilst delivering high-quality products in a timely manner and at a competitive cost.
• Responsible for the maintenance of all manufacturing facilities and equipment.
• Produce regular reports assessing operational performance, which includes cost analysis, production output and quality control metrics, to name a few.
• Develop and build excellent stakeholder relationships with Distributors, EXCO, Board and Shareholders.
