About the company: Cargo/ Freight / Logistics/ AutomotiveLocation: Kempton Park, JohannesburgSalary: CTC R140k pm (Negotiable)+ Plus (Company Cell phone, Fuel Card neg)Main purpose of the Job:
To manage and drive leading negotiations, budgeting, purchasing, and putting efficient workflowsin place to enhance the company's productivity and performance.
Lead cross-functional teams, manage existing partnerships, and evaluate company business goals driving operational efficiency, enhancing organizational performance, and contributing to the achievement of the business objectives.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or business management.Minimum Experience:

  • At least 10 years in the Transport Industry and
- 5 years working experience in a leadership role.
  • In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance,
customer service etc.)
  • Managerial experience and demonstrated ability to develop and lead others.

xe2x9exa2 Monitor operational and financial performance, identify potential risks, and implement strategies to mitigate them.
xe2x9exa2 Implement robust systems and processes to manage operational risks and maintain business continuity.
xe2x9exa2 Conduct internal reviews to test procedural compliance of all operational departments.
xe2x9exa2 Conduct data analytics pertaining to operations and initiate corrective action plans through the various departments.
xe2x9exa2 Review workforce productivity analysis and discusses with relevant heads of departments.
xe2x9exa2 Review various departmental reports and ensure that objectives are being met by direct reports.
xe2x9exa2 Monitor the achieving of direct reports deadlines to ensure that numerous required outcomes are reached on time.Audits and Regulatory Compliance
xe2x9exa2 Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
xe2x9exa2 Monitor regulatory and legislative updates/changes and make sure that all regulatory/legislative updates/changes are communicated to leadership
team to implement.
xe2x9exa2 Compile relevant Policy documents for the organization in line with legislative/compliance/regulatory requirements.
xe2x9exa2 Maintain the integrity and compliance of legislative and regulatory documents.
xe2x9exa2 Negotiate supplier agreements related to the area of responsibility, and review and approve contracts.
xe2x9exa2 Review and approve Service Level Agreements (SLA) presented by direct report with the suppliers or vendors after consulting with internal stakeholders to give effect to the organization's strategy within the capabilities of the supplier or vendor.Customer Service and Retention
xe2x9exa2 Negotiate and manage partnerships agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
xe2x9exa2 Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs, and providing exceptional customer service and solutions.
xe2x9exa2 Conduct regular client/service provider meetings, presentations, and business reviews to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and
expanding services.
